1. What RoleLight is
RoleLight is an AI-assisted tool that reviews a job posting and your resume and produces a match report and, on purchase, an application kit — a tailored resume, a cover letter, and interview-prep material. It is a writing aid, not an employment agency, recruiter, or career-counseling service.
2. No account needed
RoleLight does not require you to create an account or password. You reach your report and kit through unguessable links, and a 90-day pass is activated by a signed link sent to your email. Anyone with one of these links can access the associated content, so treat them like a password and don't share them.
3. Payments, pricing, and the pass
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details. Current prices are $12 for a single application kit and $49 for a 90-day pass that allows unlimited kits for 90 days. The pass is a one-time charge — it never auto-renews and simply expires at the end of the 90 days.
4. Refunds
You may request a full, self-serve refund within 24 hours of purchase using the refund link on your kit page. We honor refunds within that window regardless of the reason you select. After 24 hours, purchases are non-refundable.
5. Your responsibilities
You agree to submit only your own resume and accurate information, and to use RoleLight for lawful job-seeking purposes. RoleLight reframes and rewrites the experience already in your resume; it does not, and you must not ask it to, fabricate employment history, credentials, titles, or metrics.
6. AI-generated content
Your report and kit are generated by AI and are provided to assist you. You are responsible for reviewing every document for accuracy before you use or submit it. RoleLight does not guarantee any particular outcome, including interviews, offers, or employment, and is not responsible for hiring decisions made by third parties.
7. Ownership
You own the documents RoleLight generates for you and may use them freely. RoleLight retains all rights in the RoleLight service, software, branding, and content. You may not copy, resell, or reverse-engineer the service.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RoleLight's total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 90 days before the claim.
9. Privacy
Your use of RoleLight is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, how AI processing works, and our 30-day deletion of your resume and documents.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Questions? Email support@rolelight.com.
